Passionate fans of the pop star are urging that a man who breached a fence and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was set to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed features videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another comment on Instagram.

Several fans also faulted guards at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to greet the cast of Wicked

Many of supporters had gathered in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, securing several for outstanding attire and production design.
