More than 36,000 Sudanese have evacuated since takeover of El Fasher to Rapid Support Forces, says UN agency

In excess of 36,000 people have escaped Sudan's Kordofan territory eastern part of Darfur beginning Saturday, as stated by the UN's immigration body.

The spiritual head on Sunday urged an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of relief routes in Sudan, declaring that attacks on civilians and obstacles to humanitarian aid "are creating unacceptable suffering."

Sudan's ambassador to Egypt on Sunday accused RSF of carrying out war crimes in El Fasher and declared that the Sudanese government would not engage with the armed faction.

The representative further called on the global community to designate the group as a terrorist group.
