Legal authorities have stated that a ex- doctor stands accused of committing assaults against thirty-eight victims who were patients.
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences – including some against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
These allegations follow what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
